Derrick Grant

Bradford Enterprise Academy hosted a presentation by Derrick Grant on 11^th February at the WOW Academy. Derrick came to talk to our Art and Design students about his journey of becoming an entrepreneur. Derrick is an owner of a Grant Midwinter company.

A bit bout Derrick:

Having worked with a range of clients from small start up to multinationals his goals are to stay true to clients needs and create products that strike an emotive tone. Derrick specializes in Creating beautifully simple interfaces engaging though content and design, Typography, Managing an interactive design team, Art Direction and Creating design documentation.

Games Experience

Bradford College was delighted to have organised the second Bradford Enterprise Roadshow event that was dedicated to Computing and ICT.

The event was held on 24^th February 2010 from 1pm to 4:30 pm at the college’s very own WOW Academy, also known as the Innovative Technologies Centre.

The roadshow was open to everyone and the day was packed with presentations, entertainment, business exhibits, seminars and workshops. Attendees differed from students, businesses to members of community.

Bradford College students had the pleasure to meet Carolyn Bowe, a successful international business woman based in Yorkshire. She came in to talk about e-marketing, advertising, giving tips on how to effectively market themselves and their products in today’s competitive market. The presentation took place on Thursday 4^th February at the WOW Academy. Students were thrilled to attend and left the event inspired by lots of new ideas.
