Kit Car Project
Since March, students from the College’s engineering department have been working on a project funded by Bradford Enterprise Academy – building a ZERO kit car from Great British Sports Cars. A number of students and several staff members have been involved in the process from start to finish which included planning the build and actually assembling the car which is fitted with a Ford Zetec 2.0 litre engine.
The car, which is near completion, was displayed over the past weekend at the Bardford Classic, the city’s annual clasic and performance car show held in Centenary Square. Thousands of visitors attended the event over the 2 days where Bradford College engineering students were on hand to answer any questions from the public. The car generated alot of interest from the public and car enthusiasts who attended the event and now hopefully, the next stage of theproject is to find a buyer!
